Le petit office du dimanche est consacré à la Trinité, représentée à travers le baptême de Jésus dans le Jourdain par Jean Baptiste. Celui-ci est vêtu d’une tunique en peau de bête qui le désigne comme ermite. Sur la rive droite, deux anges tiennent le manteau du Christ tandis que les cieux s’ouvrent pour laisser apparaître Dieu le Père et l’Esprit Saint sous la forme d’une colombe.
The little Sunday Office is devoted to the Trinity, shown through the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan by John the Baptist. The latter is wearing an animal skin tunic defining him as a hermit. On the right bank, two angels hold Christ’s mantle while the heavens open to show God the Father and the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.
