The little Tuesday Office is devoted to the Holy Spirit illustrated by the mission given to the apostles on Pentecost. Jean Colombe shows the apostles taking leave of the Virgin two by two and going to spread Christ’s message. We recognize the apostle John by his beardless face. The background, with a fortified town, is treated with a range of blues.
