En raison du format étroit de la miniature, Jean Colombe propose une vue partielle et asymétrique d’une scène qu’il a déjà peinte au folio 79. Jean Colombe place la scène de la Pentecôte dans une chapelle aux piliers très décorés. Il adopte une teinte rouge pour la voûte, dans la continuité des édifices représentés par les frères Limbourg.
In the form of a dove, the Holy Spirit spreads its rays over the Virgin kneeling in profile, and on the Apostles.
